Gifts through a Donor Advised Fund

If you have a donor-advised fund (DAF), you know the tax benefits of establishing or funding your DAF. Please know that you will not receive a charitable deduction for making a gift from your DAF, as you received the deduction when you established or added funds to your DAF. Gifts from an IRA QCD

If you are 70陆 years old or older, you may make a gift to a charity by having the Trustee or Administrator of your taxable Individual Retirement Account (IRA) make a Qualified Charitable Distribution (QCD) of up to $108,000 total 鈥� this gift is instead of you receiving your Required Minimum Distribution (RMD). A QCD is also referred to as an IRA charitable distribution or charitable rollover.
