What is Title IX?
Title IX of the Education Amendments of 1972 is a federal law that provides that:聽鈥淣o person in the United States shall, on the basis of sex, be excluded from participation in, denied the benefits of, or be subjected to discrimination under any education program or activity receiving federal financial assistance.鈥

Scholastica is committed to ensuring a safe and nondiscriminatory environment that is free from sex discrimination (including discrimination on the basis of sex, sexual orientation, gender identity, and gender expression) and sexual misconduct (including sexual harassment, sexual assault, domestic violence, dating violence, and stalking). This commitment applies to admissions, employment, students’ access to and participation in 果酱视频 programs and activities.
Persons Who Believe They Have Experienced Sexual Misconduct
Persons who believe they have experienced sexual misconduct have multiple options for reporting and receiving support both on and off campus.

IMPORTANT: Reporting聽DOES NOT聽begin a complaint process and investigation unless there is a pattern or matter of public safety.
Students may choose to report anonymously.

Supportive measures
The Title IX Coordinator or Deputies can work with individuals who are involved in a report of sexual misconduct violation to ensure they are safe and able to fully participate in classes, activities and the residential experience. These are called supportive measures. Individuals who are accused of violating the policy may also be entitled to supportive measures. Supportive measures may be issued even if a report does not go forward as a formal grievance.
Common supportive measures include but are not limited to:
- No contact directives between parties-contact between the victim and accused is prohibited
- Absence considerations
- Course adjustments
- Alternative housing arrangements
- Adjustments to a student or employee鈥檚 job responsibilities or work hours
- Assistance to connect with community resources
- Supportive measure requests must be reasonable and are determined on a case-by-case basis. No accommodations shall alter the fundamental outcomes of the course, program or activity.
- The Title IX Coordinator will work with departments and programs on campus to ensure timely implementation of the supportive measures
