Pursuing a music degree combines core musicianship with a liberal arts education, giving you critical-thinking skills with a well-rounded cultural and artistic academic background. A degree in music allows you to develop adaptable and transferable skills that can lead you to success in education, performance or other entrepreneurial opportunities.

Our courses in history, theory and applied study will guide your musical and intellectual development. You鈥檒l receive individualized mentorship from our professors, who are professional musicians themselves.

Performing Opportunities

Regardless of your experience, there is an ensemble experience for you. We welcome students from all majors and minors to participate and perform. Events are held on campus, in the local community and beyond.

Scholarships

Students pursuing music are eligible to apply for the Sister Monica Laughlin Music Ensemble Scholarship.

Financial Aid

100% of traditional incoming undergraduates receive some type of scholarships. The average for scholarships, grants and/or loans is $31,841.
